Neuromodulators or Relaxants

What are neuromodulars?

Neuromodulators are injections used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles of the face.

At what age should I start?

They can be used in anyone over the age of 18 and work great for the prevention of wrinkles.

 

When does it start working?

Injectibles start to work in about 72 hours and takes 14 days to see maximal effects.

Does it hurt?

There is minimal to mild discomfort. Some areas of the face are more sensitive than others. 

How long does it last?

Effects generally last 3-6 months depending on the brand and amount and area injected.

Can I go back to work after?

There is minimal downtime other than mild redness at the injection site. You can go back to work after the treatment. 

What are the side effects?

Side effects are uncommon, but include asymmetry, eyelid or eyebrow drooping, injection pain, bruising, or headache. For a complete list, click on the product logo below.

Varies by brand.  Ranges from $4 to $12 per unit.  

How long does it take?
