Dr. Patrick Boler is a board-certified dermatologist, by the American Board of Dermatology, whose practice focuses on general and complex medical dermatology. He is a native of the rural town of Liberty, Mississippi and graduate of Franklin High School. He received a Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mississippi. Afterwards, he attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he received both a Doctorate of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences. During that time, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, an honor given to the those at the top of their class and who demonstrate the characteristics of an excellent physician. He was also induced into the Rho Chi Pharmacy Academic Honor Society, which is honor given to the top graduate in the doctorate of pharmaceutical sciences program. Following medical school, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Boler completed his Dermatology residency training at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center, in New Orleans, Louisiana. In his final year he was chosen to serve as the Chief Resident for the Louisiana State University Department of Dermatology. In addition to his work at Magnolia Dermatology, Dr. Boler also serves as Affiliate Faculty for the University of Mississippi Medical Center Department of Dermatology, where he works to teach and train upcoming dermatologists. He is a member of the Mississippi Dermatologic Society, where he serves on the Board of Directors. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Boler has been in private practice at Magnolia Dermatology since 2016. His clinical interests include complex medical dermatology, such as inflammatory disease of the skin (psoriasis, eczema, immunobullous diseases), connective tissue disease (lupus, dermatomyositis), and cutaneous oncology (skin cancer). Using his expertise in medications, he enjoys investigating potential medication causes of skin disease and strives to provide the most efficient, cost-effective medical therapy. He has performed research and published articles on severe medication reactions, medication adherence and compliance, and the effects of diabetes on the skin.

Outside of clinical responsibilities, Dr. Boler enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, who is a teacher in Jackson. He is an outdoor and travel enthusiast, as well as enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, spending time on the water, running, Ole Miss athletics, and spending time with friends and family.
