About the Role
As a Patient Care Respresentative at Magnolia Dermatology, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient front office operations, managing appointments, and facilitating effective communication between patients and the healthcare team.
Front Desk Operations: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Manage the front desk area, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and handling patient check-ins and check-outs.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage appointment calendars, reschedule appointments as necessary, and provide appointment reminders to patients.
Patient Information: Collect and update patient demographic information, insurance details, and medical history. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records.
Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members. Relay important information, address inquiries, and provide clear instructions regarding appointments and procedures.
Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing office supplies. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
At least one year of experience working in a similar role within an outpatient physician office preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
